Three (3) things to GINGER Your mindset towards SPIRITUAL focus.
This is so important. What is your mission in life. What are you up to. Where are you going? I am on a mission. My mission.
Mark 16:15-16 (KJV) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Don't live for nothing and don't live for yourself.
If you hunger and thirst after Him, He will find you. If you seek after Him, He will meet you.
Live for Him.
Act now. Do what you must now.
2. Stability
1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Be firm. You have come to believe this message. Be firm.
Serving Christ is not in vain. Any effort is not in vain. God is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love.
James 5:8 (KJV)
Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Be stable. Refuse to be shaken.
1 Peter 4:7 (KJV)
But the end of all things is at hand:be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
The thing that you are holding on to that is distracting you from the serving The Lord is at hand.
1 Peter 4:7 (TNIV)
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
Matthew 24:8-14 (KJV)
All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
3. Remember why you started out your life as a Christian. You wanted to serve God.
Matthew 13:20-21 (AMP)
As for what was sown on thin (rocky) soil, this is he who hears the Word and at once welcomes and accepts it with joy; 21 Yet it has no real root in him, but is temporary (inconstant, a lasts but a little while); and when affliction or trouble or persecution comes on account of the Word, at once he is caused to stumble [he is repelled and b begins to distrust and desert Him Whom he ought to trust and obey] and he falls away.
God is looking for those who can stand the test of time.
